The Smoke Free Manchester

The Campaign aims to bring together the entire community of manchester
to stub out smoking in all public places, eliminating the risks
to workers who are regularly exposed to second-hand smoke.
The key fact is that the health of all workers is at risk. The
people that work behind the bar in the pub, or serve in the restaurant,
are workers and should be protected. Smoke Free Manchester is
not about stopping people smoking - but about limiting the effects
of tobacco smoke and trying to make sure that people who choose
not to smoke do not suffer from other people's choices.
Smoke Free status will bring about nothing but positive implications
for the city and its citizens. It will raise the profile of Manchester
and bring about a cosmopolitan, modern city, a city to be proud
of!
