- Free resources to support the implementation of tobacco control
policy and policy development (including model
policies, questionnaires,
training
information packs and further
information on how to implement policy change.)
- Information on the effectiveness of ventilation
systems
- Signage for no smoking areas*
- Free publicity on the Smoke Free Manchester website and Smoke
Free North West website for workplaces going smoke free
- Inclusion in a media campaign in the local press relating to
the Smoke Free Manchester campaign
- Free resources including leaflets and posters advertising stop
smoking help
- Free support to anyone that wishes to quit smoking (one-to-one
or groups)
- Funding for free or subsidised nicotine replacement therapy
for staff will be assessed and negotiated*

Manchester Stop Smoking Service is a free NHS service funded by
North, Central and South Manchester Primary Care Trusts. The Service
is dedicated to providing the workers and residents of Manchester
with non-judgemental support and advice to help people quit smoking,
should they wish to.
